Member of Klimabündnis Tirol

Innsbruck, 1 February 2024 – The renowned Hotel Café Central in Innsbruck has proudly announced its participation in Klimabündnis Tirol. This distinction recognises the hotel’s commitment to sustainable business and the protection of our environment.

The Hotel Café Central, a tradition-rich four-star hotel in the heart of Innsbruck, has joined the climate alliance in order to contribute actively to climate protection within the Klimabündnis network.

Rainer Goldschald, hotel director, expressed his delight at the membership of the climate alliance: “We are proud to be part of this important initiative. As a central port of call for guests from all over the world in the heart of the Alps, we want to live up to our responsibility and make a positive contribution to climate protection.”

Measures have already been taken to minimise the ecological footprint. They include:

  1. Building awareness: making staff alert to the continuous, sustainable development of the business as a whole
  2. Waste reduction: active waste separation and recycling
  3. Regional sourcing: further intensifying support for local suppliers and producers
  4. Sustainable catering: use of seasonal and regional products

The Hotel Café Central looks forward to continuing to offer its guests an authentic experience that goes hand in hand with environmental awareness and quality. Taking part in Klimabündnis Tirol is an important step along that way.
