The central meeting point of the city

The Hotel Café Central

At the Hotel Café Central 4*, Innsbruck’s “central” way of life meets the charm of decades of coffee house tradition. What emerges is an incomparable blend in which every guest and every hotel visitor feels completely at home straight away. Everyone is welcome at the Central, and this history-steeped, cosmopolitan house brings apparent contradictions together stylishly under one roof as no other hotel and café does. Locals and globetrotters, students and city tourists, families and conference guests: this is where people meet and experience the city in all its exciting variety.

The Central – an institution open to anyone who appreciates the unique combination of a quality-conscious city-centre hotel and an authentic Viennese coffee house in the middle of Innsbruck.

Enjoyment for connoisseurs

Food and drink at the Hotel Café Central

Regional home cooking at the highest level is prepared at the Hotel Café Central 4* not only with a great deal of taste but also very quickly. And that 365 days a year, from 10 am to 8 pm. We place particular value on local, seasonal ingredients, some of which we are able to source from our own farm and hunting grounds. In addition, regional partners supply us with food of the best possible quality.

Works by true masters

The house of Tyrolean art

Alongside many “artists of life” and Innsbruck characters, the Hotel Café Central 4* has always served as a welcome platform for every Tyrolean artist too. As a guest this gives you the chance, on every visit, to admire one of many works by Anton Christian, Norbert Drexel, Richard Kurt Fischer, Paul Flora, Dietmar Kainrath, Renate Kraus, Oswald Oberhuber, Rudi Wach, Max Weiler, Arthur Zelger and many other Tyrolean artists. An opportunity not every coffee house offers.
